After carefully listening to your needs and desires, we set out to develop a new range of products that offers, not just full performance, but also distinctive design and wonderful scents. Cleaning Lab and the CLAB line of home care cleaning products were born out of this insight. Our team at the Cleaning Lab loves things to be both beautiful and functional. That is why it strives to develop cleaning products that deliver on safety and effectiveness while bringing unique scents that engage the senses. We believe in letting beauty, comfort and good smells fill our living spaces to make them feel like home. For this reason, we design our products to blend into the beauty of their surroundings and be respectful of the planet and the people who live on it.

We pay a lot of attention to bottle design and graphics, choosing elegant colours and clean lines so that our products blend harmoniously into your home space. Our aim is to bring you unique and innovative products that accentuate your home and do not have to be hidden away in some remote corner of the house. We believe that cleaning and caring for the people you love should be a cheerful, colourful experience, so we work each day to make CLAB products beautiful and incredibly scented. Besides being functional, the exclusive fragrances deodorize your laundry and home with fresh scents that were formulated with painstaking attention to the raw materials used..

 

ATTENTION AND SUSTAINABILITY

We are always in search of the solution that most effectively promotes energy efficiency and respect for the environment. This is why only concentrated products are formulated at our Cleaning Lab.  We abide by the latest guidelines so as to achieve high performance at low dosage in order to minimize waste and reduce the environmental impact of our products. We also subscribe to the AISE Charter, a voluntary project that promotes and highlights the concept of sustainability in all its meanings and implications. Our formulations do not contain superfluous ingredients that promise to work magic, but only those that really work and in the amounts that are strictly necessary. We adopt and promote an environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001.2004 standard.

The same logic applies to CLAB containers, which were designed to hold the greatest amount of product in the smallest space, optimize logistics, and reduce the unnecessary transportation of air during distribution. Our bottles are all 100% recyclable, every component, but, at the same time, solid and sturdy enough for reuse. Each formulation is, in fact also available in the exclusive Bag-in-Box option that allows CLAB containers to be re-used as new and so avoids unnecessary waste. Refills can be purchased on-line.

 

SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our formulations comply fully with current regulations on toxicity and biodegradability, and we do not test our formulations on animals.

We believe it is important to invest in our country’s economy, and for this reason we have chosen not to delocalize our production processes to other countries. We implement a certified occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001:2007) and consider it to be our duty to raise awareness among our partners regarding these issues.

 CLAB Laundry Line products have undergone comparative tests that give an accurate evaluation of primary and secondary effects. The Blue-CLAB fragrance was developed in a responsible manner, without the use of raw materials not permitted under our Cleaning Lab policy. CLAB Laundry Line products for use during washing have all been tested under dermatological control. The preservatives in our CLAB Laundry Line were selected in a responsible manner, choosing the best ones from among the various possibilities. CLAB Laundry Line products do not contain colourants.

CLAB BABY LAUNDRY

The CLAB Baby Laundry line has the priority objective of having a mild and gentle effect on the skin. Liquid detergents rinse out more thoroughly than powder detergents, and therefore leave behind less residue on fabrics. Some additives, however, have an affinity with the fibres in order to preserve them or to add a soft and fresh touch. The Baby Laundry Line was conceived to keep residue and the risk of skin irritation to a minimum. Bonne Nuit, the distinctive scent of Baby Laundry products, is developed in a very innovative way: our Cleaning Lab, in fact, limits the creative perfumer to a choice of raw materials from a restrictive list, rigorously selected after careful consideration. CLAB Baby Laundry products for use during the washing cycle are tested under dermatological control and certified hypoallergenic. The preservatives in our CLAB Laundry Line are selected in a responsible manner, choosing the best from among the various possibilities. CLAB Baby Laundry Line products do not contain colourants.

CLAB DISHWASHING

CLAB Dishwashing Line products adopt concentrated formulations with a high cleaning power and, for this reason, they come with a convenient dispenser that gives you just the right amount. They are made with carefully selected ingredients and clean dishes thoroughly, producing a soft and dense foam. They are powered with enzymes that help to remove stuck-on food more easily during soaking.CLAB Dishwashing Line products have undergone comparative tests that give an accurate evaluation of primary and secondary effects. The CLAB Dishwashing Line features original and refined scents that, as is typical for this category of products, are not too sweet and rinse out fully. CLAB Dishwashing Line fragrances are developed in a responsible manner, without the use of raw materials not permitted under our Cleaning Lab policy.B The fragrances used for CLAB Dishwashing products are also adapted to highlight the sensory experience of dishwashing. Let yourself be carried away by the stimulating and energizing freshness of fruit with the irresistible Vine Blossom and Fig and Almond Blossom scents.

CLAB DISHWASHINGLIMITED EDITION

Limited edition CLAB Dishwashing products come in an elegant and exclusively designed bottle with a convenient dispenser. There are lots of designs to choose from that are sure to satisfy every taste and to add a touch of style and a cheerful note to your kitchen. These exclusive products are made from concentrated formulations using carefully selected ingredients and are effective at low dosage levels, cleaning dishes thoroughly, and producing a soft and dense foam. The CLAB Limited Edition Line fragrance is fresh and lively and engages the senses, but is also developed in a responsible manner, without the use of raw materials not permitted under our Cleaning Lab policy. CLAB Limited Edition dishwashing liquids can only be purchased at ESSELUNGA supermarkets. 

 This is why we have brought to life these precious and pleasant fragrances that are made in a highly responsible and innovative way. In fact, in the development phase, as well as complying with current regulations, we further restricted perfumers in their choice of raw materials by excluding those not permitted by our own Cleaning Lab policy. Notwithstanding these obstacles, their creativity gave life to high-level fragrances, of excellent quality that are unique in their genre.
